The Hardloop December Run Streak challenges you to run at least one mile every day in December. Open to anyone anywhere! Why? The holiday period can be especially difficult to continue training and staying healthy: travel, family obligations, weather, parties, food, drinks, late nights, less daylight, more food... the run streak challenge is free motivation, a group to hold you accountable, an excuse to share with your friends and family as to why you HAVE to run or walk today and every day in December. For those training for an early year marathon (like Houston) the December run streak can be a huge boost to your training. As always, listen to your body - not running through injuries and taking recovery seriously. For those just getting into fitness, this is a great goal to shoot for one mile a day and jump-start a new year. How many miles can we run as a group? Who will run the most miles? Join the Hardloop Strava Club to keep tally and use #HardloopStreak in your social media! https://www.strava.com/clubs/hardloop Rules: 1mi on your own two feet every single day, post it, share it, motivate others to keep the streak alive! Invite others to your run - we will try and host some runs around Houston and Katy but feel free to join virtually from anywhere. *In-person unlikely for 2020 due to COVID-19, please adhere to local guidelines
